My pillows are the result of crossing paths with a long ago friend. She can no longer weave. So, I ended up with part of her yarn stash.
Not having enough of any one yarn for a long run, I experimented.
These 2’ x 2’ pillows are two-of-a-kind studies in color and texture! Some are filled with down; some with polyfil; all with the joy of friendship.

The reading blankets are a warm and soft wool boucle woven against a cotton warp. These yarns were custom made in England and Portugal. It’s a good exercise for me to work with earth tones, since I am basically allergic to them.
I made too many chenille scarves, so I turned them into balsam pillows. These six inch squares of color bring memories of summer camps and winter holidays. All are lighthouse-free.
